Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, and yeast. Gradually add warm water and olive oil until a dough forms.
  2. Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. Place dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 to 1.5 hours until doubled in size.
  4. Cook turkey bacon until crispy, chop, and mix with chicken ham, mozzarella, bell peppers, mushrooms, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  5. After dough has risen, punch it down, divide into 6 portions, and roll each into a 6-inch circle.
  6. Place filling on one half of each dough circle, fold over to create a half-moon shape, and seal edges.
  7. Beat egg and brush over the tops of the calzones for a golden crust.
  8. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  9. Air fry calzones in batches for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  10. Let cool slightly on a wire rack and serve with dipping sauces.
