- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease a 12-inch ovenproof skillet or pizza pan with unsalted butter or oil.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine thawed and dried frozen shredded hash browns with melted butter, salt, and black pepper.
- Press the hash brown mixture into your prepared pan, creating a thick, even layer resembling a pizza crust.
- Bake the crust for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the crust and layer with shredded cheddar cheese, sausage or bacon, bell peppers, and green onions.
- Make shallow depressions in the toppings to create wells for the eggs.
- Crack an egg into each well and sprinkle with paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Return to the oven for 10–12 minutes, until egg whites are fully set.
- Cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving warm.
