Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together ½ cup of melted butter, 1 cup of brown sugar, ½ cup of pure maple syrup, and 1 teaspoon of maple extract until smooth and creamy.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, ½ teaspoon of baking soda, and ¼ teaspoon of salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until a soft dough forms.
- While the dough is chilling, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Using a cookie scoop or your hands, portion out 1.5-ounce balls of dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Slide the baking sheet into the preheated oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Once baked, remove the cookies from the oven and let them rest on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt 1 cup of white chocolate melting wafers at half power in 30-second bursts, stirring in between until completely smooth.
- Once the cookies are fully cooled, dip half of each cookie into the melted white chocolate and place them back on the parchment paper.
- Allow the chocolate to set completely before serving or storing your cookies.
