  • 1/2 cup Orange Juice freshly squeezed preferred
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar can substitute with honey or agave
  • 2 tablespoons Vinegar white or rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Low-Sodium Soy Sauce or tamari for gluten-free
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger grated
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch or arrowroot powder

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets and transfer to a large bowl.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the eggs until smooth. Place the panko breadcrumbs in a resealable bag.
  4. Dip each cauliflower floret into the egg, let excess drip off, then place in the bag with breadcrumbs and shake to coat.
  5. Arrange the coated florets in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  6. In a saucepan, combine orange juice, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Heat until boiling.
  7. Mix cornstarch with water until smooth, then add to the boiling sauce, whisking constantly until thickened.
  8. Drizzle the thickened sauce over baked cauliflower, toss gently, and serve warm.
