Preparation Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crab meat and softened cream cheese, using a fork to blend until smooth. Add the chopped green onions and garlic powder, stirring until mixed well.
- Lay out the wonton wrappers. Place a spoonful of the crab filling in the center of each wrapper; moisten the edges with water and fold them to create a seal.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C). Test with a small piece of bread for readiness.
- Carefully lower the bombs into hot oil and fry for about 3-4 minutes until golden. Turn halfway through.
- Remove the bombs with a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain. Serve hot with a dipping sauce.
