Ingredients
  

For the Filling
  • 8 oz Crab Meat can use canned or imitation crab
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp Green Onions chopped
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
For the Wrappers
  • 20 pieces Wonton Wrappers or egg roll wrappers
For Frying
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil for frying

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the crab meat and softened cream cheese, using a fork to blend until smooth. Add the chopped green onions and garlic powder, stirring until mixed well.
  2. Lay out the wonton wrappers. Place a spoonful of the crab filling in the center of each wrapper; moisten the edges with water and fold them to create a seal.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C). Test with a small piece of bread for readiness.
  4. Carefully lower the bombs into hot oil and fry for about 3-4 minutes until golden. Turn halfway through.
  5. Remove the bombs with a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain. Serve hot with a dipping sauce.
