  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
For Air Frying

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Gently clean the oyster mushrooms under running water and soak them in buttermilk for 15 minutes.
  2. Mix all-purpose flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cumin in a large bowl.
  3. Remove mushrooms from buttermilk, let excess drip off, coat in seasoned flour, dip back into buttermilk, and coat again in flour.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes and lightly grease the basket.
  5. Arrange the coated mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 10 to 15 minutes, shaking halfway.
  6. Carefully remove mushrooms once cooked, serve hot with dipping sauces.
