Step-by-Step Instructions for Cuban Casserole
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat, combine the whipping cream, softened cream cheese, and yellow mustard. Stir continuously for about 3 to 5 minutes until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Add the prepared pulled pork and sliced ham to the skillet. Gently fold in half of the shredded Swiss cheese and half of the sliced dill pickles. Mix carefully for around 2 minutes.
- Evenly spread the mixture into the skillet. Top with the remaining Swiss cheese and the remaining dill pickles.
- Place the assembled casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown on top.
- Carefully remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before garnishing with additional sliced pickles and serve warm.
