Method
 

Making Cherry Earl Grey Milk Tea
  1. Bring 2 cups of filtered water to a gentle boil in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Once boiling, add 2 tablespoons of Earl Grey tea leaves or 2 standard tea bags and let steep for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and strain the tea into a separate bowl or pitcher, discarding the leaves or tea bags.
  4. Return the tea to the saucepan and stir in 1/4 cup of cherry syrup and sugar to taste, heating gently until dissolved.
  5. Allow the mixture to cool for about 5 minutes.
  6. Add 1 cup of your choice of milk into the tea mixture and stir gently until fully combined.
  7. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  8. Pour the creamy tea mixture over the ice cubes and serve immediately.
