For the Chocolate Layer
  • 8 oz Milk or semi-sweet chocolate bar Choose high-quality chocolate

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk the dry ingredients. Add egg, vanilla, milk, oil, and coffee. Mix until smooth.
  3. While baking, melt butter and toast shredded phyllo dough in a pan. Mix with pistachio cream once cool.
  4. Chop the chocolate and combine with heavy cream in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave and whisk to smooth.
  5. Spread the pistachio filling on the cake, drizzle with chocolate sauce, and garnish as desired.
