Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the sugar cookie dough according to the package instructions or your homemade recipe. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Chill the dough in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  2. After chilling, roll the dough out on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick. Cut out egg shapes with a cookie cutter and bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  3. While the cookies are cooling, prepare the cream cheese frosting by beating the softened cream cheese and butter together until fluffy. Gradually add sifted sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until creamy.
  4. Wash and chop your fresh fruits into small pieces. Pat down excess moisture to keep cookies crisp.
  5. Frost each cooled sugar cookie with a thick layer of creamy frosting. Arrange chopped fruits artfully on top.
  6. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator, adding fruit just before serving.
