Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of whipped topping and 1 box of dry vanilla pudding mix. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  2. Fold in 1 cup of drained crushed pineapple and 1 cup of drained mandarin oranges to the mixture gently.
  3. Add in 1 cup of pastel mini marshmallows and 1/2 cup of shredded coconut (if desired). Fold carefully into the mixture.
  4. If using, add 1/2 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts and fold into the salad.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  6. Once chilled, stir gently and garnish with 1/4 cup of flaked coconut and pastel sprinkles before serving.
