  • 1 cup Shredded cheese (Cheddar or mozzarella) Freshly shredded for best melting
  • 1 medium Avocado Sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Butter For frying
  • to taste Salt

Step-by-Step Instructions for Fried Egg Quesadilla
  1. Prepare the skillet by heating a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melting a pat of butter.
  2. Fry the first egg with a sprinkle of salt and pepper for 2-3 minutes, then set aside. Repeat with second egg.
  3. Build the quesadilla by placing one tortilla in the skillet and adding half the cheese.
  4. Add the fried eggs and avocado slices on top, then sprinkle with the remaining cheese and place another tortilla on top.
  5. Cook the quesadilla for 2-3 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Slice the quesadilla into wedges and serve immediately with optional toppings.
