  • 0.25 cup cherry tomatoes, optional Halved for layering.
  • 2 tbsp red onion, thinly sliced Optional for a zesty kick.
  • 1 tbsp fresh herbs Such as dill, basil, or cilantro.
  • 1 tsp lemon juice To brighten and prevent browning.
  • salt and pepper To taste.

Preparation Instructions
  1. Toast the Bread (Optional): Lightly toast your slices of bread if you prefer a crunchier base, then set aside.
  2. Prepare the Avocado Mix: Scoop out the avocado flesh, mash it until smooth, then mix in lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the Avocado on Bread: Evenly spread the avocado mixture on one side of each toasted bread slice.
  4. Layer the Cucumbers: Arrange the cucumber slices on top of the avocado spread.
  5. Add Greens and Other Toppings: Layer fresh leafy greens, red onions, cherry tomatoes, and sprinkle with herbs.
