Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pour 4 cups of water into a large pot and bring it to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Once the water is boiling, remove the pot from the heat and add dried hibiscus flowers.
  3. Cover the pot and steep the hibiscus flowers for about 10 minutes.
  4. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher.
  5. While the tea is still warm, stir in sugar until fully dissolved.
  6. Squeeze fresh lime juice into the tea and mix well.
  7. Pour in 2 cups of cold water to dilute the tea.
  8. Dice ripe mango and blend it until smooth.
  9. Stir the mango puree into the hibiscus tea mixture.
  10. Cool at room temperature before refrigerating for at least 1-2 hours.
  11. Serve the tea over ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
