- In a large pan, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium heat. Once the oil shimmers, add 4 cloves of minced garlic, 1 finely chopped green chili, and 1 tablespoon of freshly grated ginger. Sauté for about 1 minute, stirring frequently, until fragrant and golden.
- Add 2 diced onions to the pan and continue to sauté for another 3-4 minutes until golden brown and caramelized.
