Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare all ingredients: slice the onion, clean and halve mushrooms, mince garlic, and have the butter, olive oil, and Worcestershire sauce ready.
  2. Heat skillet over medium-high heat, melting butter with olive oil until shimmering.
  3. Add Worcestershire sauce to the skillet and stir quickly for about 30 seconds.
  4. Add halved mushrooms to the skillet, cooking for 5 minutes while stirring every 1.5 minutes.
  5. Stir in sliced onions and cook for an additional 5 minutes until translucent.
  6. Lower heat and add minced garlic, stirring for about 30 seconds to avoid burning.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
