  • 1 teaspoon Liquid Smoke Omit for milder taste
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika Regular paprika can be substituted
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Fresh garlic offers a more robust taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Optional for a spicy kick
For the Tofu
  • 1 block High-Protein Tofu Use firm or extra firm
  • 1 tablespoon Light Olive Oil Can use canola oil as substitute

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C) and grease a baking sheet lightly with olive oil.
  2. Drain and pat dry the tofu. Slice the tofu into thin shavings.
  3. Mix all marinade ingredients in a bowl and coat the tofu slices. Marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Spread the marinated tofu on the greased baking sheet, ensuring pieces are flat and not overlapping.
  5. Bake the tofu for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool before serving in sandwiches or wraps.
