Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat a heavy skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers. Season the steak with salt and pepper, and sear each side for about 4-5 minutes.
  2. Remove the steak and let it rest for 5 minutes on a cutting board.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic, sautéing for about 30 seconds.
  4. Pour in the bourbon, scraping the bottom of the skillet to lift the browned bits. Simmer for 1 minute.
  5. Add the heavy cream, beef broth, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Stir well and simmer for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Slice the rested steak against the grain, place on a plate, and drizzle the bourbon garlic cream sauce over the top. Serve immediately.
