  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon use the same fresh cinnamon from the cookie dough

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually incorporate the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Chill the dough covered for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon for the coating in a small bowl.
  8. Shape the chilled dough into balls and roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  9. Place coated balls on baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
