  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce For savory saltiness
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika For warmth and color
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Used in marinade
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley For garnishing
For the Marinade

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 4 minced garlic cloves, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of nutritional yeast, and 1 teaspoon of paprika. Stir in a pinch of black pepper.
  2. Press the extra-firm tofu gently to remove excess water, then cut it into bite-sized cubes. Toss the tofu in the marinade until well-coated and allow to marinate for 15-30 minutes.
  3. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of vegan butter over medium heat. Ensure it’s hot and sizzling.
  4. Add the marinated tofu in a single layer to the skillet. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until golden-brown and crispy.
  5. Transfer the crispy tofu bites to a plate and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
