Equipment

  • Microwave
  • large mixing bowl
  • Spatula
  • Parchment Paper

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by cleaning and organizing your kitchen workspace, ensuring you have all your ingredients within reach. Pop the air-popped popcorn and pour it into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Next, take the Campfire® FruitSwirler Marshmallows and separate them by color. Place each color into its own microwave-safe bowl and add a tablespoon of butter to each bowl.
  3. Microwave each bowl of marshmallows and butter for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between until the mixture is fully melted and smooth.
  4. Once your marshmallows are melted, immediately pour the first color over the bowl of popcorn. Gently mix to ensure even coating while the mixture stays warm.
  5. While the popcorn is still warm, sprinkle in the mini fruit marshmallows and colorful sprinkles for added texture and fun. Toss gently to combine.
  6. Spread the coated Unicorn Marshmallow Popcorn out on a parchment-lined baking sheet and allow it to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

Use freshly popped air-popped popcorn for optimal texture; stale popcorn makes it less delightful. Experiment with flavored marshmallows for custom flavors.
